Back in 1986, Dr. Molligan earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then went on to further his education with a residency in orthopedic surgery at LSU Health New Orleans Health Sciences Center in 1991.
Before long, he attained board certification in orthopedic surgery through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Dr. Molligan is affiliated with University Medical Center-Lubbock, Covenant Medical Center, and Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital.
