Licensed to practice in the state of Texas, Dr. Coleman is a general practitioner and addiction medicine specialist who serves patients at his private practice, Wilcrest Medical Center, located in Houston.

Back in 1962, Dr. Coleman earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his internship at the University of Alabama Medical Center, followed by his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the same institute. Wanting to further his training, he completed his residency in psychiatry at Camarillo State Hospital.
