Get to know Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist Dr. Zeena Latif Marshall, who serves patients in Bronxville, New York.

Dr. Marshall is an expert child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist serving as the Medical Director of Bronxville Psychiatric Wellness Group in New York.

Proud to provide an excellent level of care to patients for better mental health and wellness, she is dedicated to helping individuals in need. She treats mental health associated with pain that could arise from medical conditions and stresses that are beyond one’s control. Her goal is to help patients achieve their optimal potential with all the resources available to her. 

With extensive experience in treating child, adolescent, and adult mental health conditions, Dr. Marshall is one of 9 doctors at New York-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital who specialize in psychiatry. 

Educated in Pakistan, she graduated with her medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University. She then relocated to the United States, receiving her postgraduate degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky and her child and adolescent fellowship from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio.

Having been in practice for over three decades, she is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Possessing inpatient/ outpatient experience in treating mental illnesses, Dr. Marshall served as a medical director of a psychiatric hospital in Orlando, Florida. She was also a medical director of a child and adolescent inpatient unit for several years.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Marshall has been the recipient of an On-Time Doctor Award (2014).
