Get to know Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Feroz A. Padder, who serves patients in Columbia, Maryland.

A top professional in the field of interventional cardiology, Dr. Padder is the Founder of Padder Health Services in Columbia, Maryland. He has a special interest in coronary and peripheral angioplasty.

Academically, he attended medical school at the University of Kashmir and completed his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center of Boston at Tufts University. He then went on to complete his fellowships in cardiology at the National Institutes of Health, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Finally, he completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Padder is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).

An avid philanthropist, Dr. Padder founded the Ayesha Ali Academy in Jammu and Kashmir, which opened in 2019. He has also made generous charitable contributions to The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7472, in Ellicott City, Maryland, and was awarded recognition in 2019.

Speaking multiple languages, he is fluent in English, Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi, and Urdu.
