  • Can I swallow my saliva after tooth extraction?

Good Afternoon, I hope that your extraction was as comfortable as possible. With regards to your question, there will be no harm in swallowing your saliva. Please be sure that you are following post-op instructions that were given by your dentist or oral surgeon, and that you are rinsing and expectorating with warm salt water several times daily for approximately 5-7 days after the tooth was removed. I hope this helps. Dr John Vallera READ MORE
