Established in 2004, A Great Smile Dental is a private general and cosmetic dental practice dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care for patients and their families. The practice utilizes the very latest technologies, techniques, and materials to ensure that patients’ dental experience will offer maximum comfort and be as relaxing as possible.

After graduating from the Medical College of Virginia in 1997, Dr. Yaghmai completed a year of advanced studies in comprehensive dental care at the University of California, San Francisco. His private practice was established in 1998 and he has been a practicing clinician in Las Vegas as of January 2004. From 2007 until 2008, he completed a year-long comprehensive aesthetic residency program in California. 

Ongoingly, he attends various education seminars so that he can remain knowledgeable of the latest advances in contemporary and cosmetic dentistry. His current certifications include aesthetic dentistry, implant restorations, Invisalign, facial muscle pain, laser dentistry, surgical implant placements, occlusion, and sleep apnea. 

Board-certified in the states of Nevada, California, and Virginia, Dr. Yaghmai is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, and the Southern Nevada Dental Society. He had the distinction of being voted “Top Dentist in Las Vegas” for several years by his dental peers and fellow specialists.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Yaghmai’s priority is his family. He loves to spend time with his wife and two boys. His hobbies include playing keyboard, watching movies, traveling, and learning about different cultures worldwide. He always enjoys getting to know new people and his interactions with them.
