Board Certified Physiatrist Offers Expert Care for Musculoskeletal Disorders in Mercerville and Monroe Township

Dr. Dorota M. Gribbin, MD, a highly trained physiatrist, proudly serves as the Medical Director of Comprehensive Pain & Regenerative Center, providing exceptional care to patients in New Jersey. With her extensive expertise in musculoskeletal disorders, she offers a wide range of services, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various conditions.

Specializing in spine medicine, entrapment neuropathies, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and more, Dr. Gribbin utilizes advanced diagnostic tools such as electromyography and nerve conduction studies to accurately identify conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome and peripheral neuropathies. She offers comprehensive treatment options, including patient education, physical therapy, pharmacological management, and interventional procedures like trigger point injections and nerve blocks, all performed with precision using ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance in-office.

Educated in Poland, Dr. Gribbin graduated with her Medical Degree from Medical University of Warsaw in 1984. Following this, from 1984 to 1985, she pursued a fellowship in rehabilitation medicine and orthopedics at Hospital Hotel Dieu, University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France. 

In the subsequent years, from 1985 to 1988, Dr. Gribbin engaged in research focused on cardiovascular physiology and rehabilitation medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Manhattan, New York. Moving forward, she served as an intern in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center from 1988 to 1989, after which she undertook residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at The New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center from 1989 to 1992.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Gribbins serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Section Chairman of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Attending Psychiatrist at University Princeton Medical Center, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Campus in New York.

Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through prestigious accolades, including being named one of the Best Physicians in Mercer County for 16 consecutive years (1999 to 2015) in the Castle Connolly Guide to the Best Physicians in the New York Metropolitan Area. 

Among her other accolades include New Jersey Magazine: Best Doctors (2005, 2010, 2011 & 2012), President of the New Jersey Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (2002 – 2004), Vice President of the New Jersey Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (2000 – 2002), and Middlesex County Delegate to the Medical Society of N.J. House of Delegates (1997 – 2000).
