Dr. Ninh is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in Southern California, serving patients in the Irvine, Fountain Valley, and Monterey Park areas. He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries and total joint replacements including Direct Anterior Hip Replacement. Working with an elite team of multilingual and multi-disciplinary specialists at the Pacific Coast Orthopedic Institute, he strives to provide comprehensive orthopedic care.
A native of Orange County, he graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California. His vision was to establish an orthopedic surgery practice focusing on sports medicine, inspired from his own personal experience as a young athlete and patient. These experiences were highly influential in his decision to pursue medicine and further provided the inspiration to pursue excellence throughout his education and training.
Subsequently, Dr. Ninh received both his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. After finishing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, he went on to complete his fellowship in sports medicine at Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
Remaining up to date in his field, he is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Medical Association, and the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine.
Among his other roles, Dr. Ninh serves as the Medical Director of the Chapman Orthopedic Institute, and maintains hospital privileges at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, and Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center.
