Dr. Teri office when entering is "what it can tell you all about her and question her knowledge of pain and her pain due to accident" I was looking for someone professional specialist in pain as I have been misdiagnosed and failed surgeries too many times during my life in Maine and the neglect of patients medical disablitities ( ex: Been seen by doctors who specialized in Narcolepsy for severe Hypersomniac, genetic related of central origin but not treated even when all the providers knew of the multiple auto accidents, being reported at work as falling asleep inappropriate and put on leave for testing which indicated the original dx, but all I heard was "ADDICTION" well if they would of lowered their egos to consult with world experts in the research and studies in hopes to find a cure, Dr Mignot from Standford University in CA who told me he would take with any of my doctors to educate them on the individualized treatment of each patient and throwing the PDR out the window , his knowledge of no known addicted Narcoleleptic who was adequately diagnosed" Each Maine "sleep doc" refused and allowed me to be in repeated accidents until i went on SSDI" Dr. Teri reminds me of these doctors in Maine as she feels her own experience will be professional dx and tx of pain" Dr Teri relies on "GOD" and taking off "YOUR ROSE GLASSES" No medical diagnostics were performed nor was there a initial assessment and she also must have a fear of germs as you must wear booties upon entering her office. I think the Board Of Medicine should really evaluate the competency of this doctor for her mental and professional medical knowledge in the ability to practice competency , esp due to her claims of "Pallliative care" and her views of treating pain in her book? It is not a book about her medical knowledge it is about how she sees a patient in pain as "all in your head" and all you need is GOD" I called and cancelled the 2nd appointment with her which did not get reported and then she hounded me for a bill of $500 for missed appointment for a SSDI Medicare disabled patient. I had severe medical operations after seeing her that she completely missed if she would of assessed me but with the booties you are required to wear , i think she feels pain patients must be "dirty" This proclaimed doctor is the strangest doctor I have ever encountered in all my years of being a RN.
