Bay Shore Allergy & Asthma Specialty Practice, PC encompasses Long Island’s finest allergy, asthma and immunology specialists. In his current capacity, Dr. Guida Jr. serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also the Medical Director of the Adult and Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Programs & the Family Asthma and Allergy Center at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. His other affiliations include St. Charles Hospital.

Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Guida Jr. was awarded his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. His internship and residency in pediatrics were completed at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. He then went on to do two fellowships – cystic fibrosis (adult and pediatric) and pediatric pulmonology – at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and an additional fellowship in adult & pediatric allergy / immunology at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.

Demonstrating expertise in all areas of his field, he is board-certified in adult & pediatric allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). The mission of the ABAI is to improve the quality of medical care by the development and utilization of professional and educational standards for the initial certification and maintenance of certification of physician specialists in allergy and immunology. 

A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Guida Jr. is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (FAAAAI), and a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (FACAAI).
