Our son has been seen by Dr. Collins since he arrived in Gainesville in June 2006. He has performed one surgery on our son during that time in July 2013. We have grown to love Dr. Collins and consider him a part of our family. He has always taken the time to answer all of our questions and explain multiple treatment options so that we have a clear understanding of the entire situation. As someone in the Healthcare Administration field, I recognize quality physicians and I can assure you, Dr. Collins meets all the criteria of the highest standards and regulations set forth. As a mother of his patient, I could not imagine there would be a better "fit" individual for work in the Pediatric Otolaryngology field. Through the years, he has always been able to help our son understand the current situation and following surgery, helped comfort him, acting not just as his physician but also his friend. Our son is now 17 years old and the thought of moving on from Dr. Collins purely breaks our hearts. But I can assure anyone who is considering becoming an established patient with him, you WILL be taken care of and it will be QUALITY care-a sometimes difficult attribute to find in this highly competitive healthcare world we experience today! Also, I'd like to mention that this survey rates the office experience. The office experience is not directly related to the physician. At the establishment I work with, we have multiple clinic locations. The physician does not oversee his office staff nor have any bearings on their performance unless it is a privately owned business-which this is not. It is unfair to rate a physician or his services by the performance of his office staff. However, I have never had a bad or poor experience with the Hampton Oaks clinic where Dr. Collins is located.
