  • Can I work out after a chiropractic adjustment?

The answer to this question really depends on the particular condition. Lower back pain is a very general description. It is best to discuss the severity of your problem with your Doctor of Chiropractic. Most of my patients see me for Wellness Care and are beyond the Crisis Care period. For a wellness care patient, post adjustment is one of the best times to work-out because your body is moving at its best. For someone in acute pain, it may be a different story. Take back your health and you can live the wellness lifestyle! READ MORE

  • Is chiropractic treatment safe for a 60-year-old?

A good Doctor of Chiropractic will perform a thorough examination which includes orthopedic and neurological tests in addition to necessary vitals and review of the patient history. Age alone is never a limiting factor. My oldest patient was 97 years old an my daughter was adjusted on her first full day of life. However, with a proper evaluation, your Doctor of Chiropractic can give you a professional opinion regarding whether or not care is appropriate for your grandfather. READ MORE

  • Can pregnant women go see a chiropractor?

Absolutely, pregnancy is a wonderful time to see a Doctor of Chiropractic. The better your structure is functioning, the better you will feel and the better the environment is for your baby. There is a wonderful write up regarding chiropractic care on the American Pregnancy Association website. Please feel free to contact me to find a prenatal wellness family chiropractor near you. • Persistent crick in neck, what do I do?

Dear Patient, Normal is a relative question. Many x-rays which are read as normal will still have biomechanical dysfunction which can lead to any number of things. If you have been evaluated for this problem and a biomechanical cause has not been suggested, then you are going to the wrong doctor. I have seen x-rays in stage 2 degeneration referred to as "normal for your age" many times. You may contact my office and I would be happy to provide you with a thorough biomechanical evaluation and care recommendations, even if that means a referral to the right doctor. READ MORE
