After earning his medical degree from the University of Szeged Faculty of Medicine in Szeged, Hungary, Dr. Horvath went on to complete his residencies in pediatrics, anesthesiology, and critical care medicine at Petz Aladár County Teaching Hospital in Gyor, Hungry. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Dr. Horvath is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the mission of the ABA is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
