Since May of 2012, Dr. Williams has been serving as a staff psychiatrist at Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia.

She then went on to earn her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2006, after which she performed her residency in psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia in 2010. She was honored to serve as a Chief Resident from 2009-2010.
With an unwavering commitment to her speciality, she is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties that issues “certificates of special knowledge” in the specialty of preventive medicine.
Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Williams is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) and a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (FASAM).
