Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Chilakamarri Ramesh, who serves patients in Warren, Michigan.

A triple board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Ramesh sees patients at his private practice in Warren, and Royal Oak.Michigan. He specializes in psychodynamic psychiatry, anxiety disorders, addiction, and is very familiar with Dynamic psychotherapy, CBT, logotherapy, and trauma therapy.

An Indian native, he earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College. After relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, and his fellowship at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

A Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Ramesh is an active member of the Michigan Psychoanalytic Society. He can be found on staff at Ascension St.John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, while working at Lafayette Clinic  he has done research on Panic disorder.

A passionate teacher, he has trained many local medical students, residents, and nurse practitioners, and has published many articles on panic disorders.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

Among his various accolades, Dr. Ramesh is a recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2018, 2017, 2016), On-Time Doctor Award (2018, 2017, 2016), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018, 2017).

Speaking several languages, he is fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
