A double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Fee works with patients at his private practice – Coastal Cosmetic Center – in Jacksonville, Florida. He understands that listening to his patients’ needs and wants is the first critical step in serving his patients and recognizes that it’s the goals and dreams they present to him that matter most.
Moreover, he has had the privilege of caring for patients from six continents and often receives referrals from other plastic surgeons in the United States. His ability to hear his patients’ hopes and desires enables him to develop and execute a treatment plan that offers them the highest quality results while assuring the best quality of care.
Academically, Dr. Fee earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Denison University with a double major in Chemistry and Biology. From there, he was selected to attend the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he earned the John Forman Award for the most outstanding performance in his class in the field of Surgery.
After winning this prestigious award, he was invited to remain as a resident in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the largest university-based medical center in South Florida with an international reputation. He continued his training in the field of plastic surgery at Shands Hospital/University of Florida in Gainesville.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
To boot, Dr. Fee is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
A former President of the Greater Jacksonville Society of Plastic Surgeons, he has published and participated in several peer-reviewed journals. He is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and has gained recognition for his presentations on various cosmetic surgical procedures to organizations such as the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fee has served as the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, and as the Division Chief at St. Vincent’s-Southside Hospital. His commitment to his profession and to the highest standards of care has encouraged his travels to third world countries, where he has provided plastic surgery to children through Interplast.
