Recognized as an outstanding and skilled podiatrist, Dr. Paukovitz is the owner and operator of High-Performance Foot + Ankle, a full service podiatric medical and surgical practice in Manasquan, New Jersey. There, she treats the entire spectrum of foot and ankle medicine and surgery, from common skin and nail disorders to trauma, sports injuries, diabetic foot care, and reconstructive surgery. Conservative care is attempted first and if surgery is required, the patient will be guided through the process beginning with the procedure and what to expect during the recovery period.
With Compassion, Comfort, and Convenience being the hallmarks of High-Performance Foot + Ankle, Dr. Paukovitz believes that taking the time to listen to her patients regarding their foot and ankle issues is the key to formulating a specific treatment plan. Strong patient education and involvement allow for the best overall outcome and a happy patient.
Following an injury requiring reconstructive knee surgery, Dr. Paukovitz’s passion for sports medicine and interest in athletic injuries grew. She was a four-year Division I Basketball player and Captain of the Fordham University Women’s Basketball team, where she was a two-time Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year, two-time Patriot League All-League selection, Team MVP and a career 1,000 point scorer. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre Med/Biology and a Master of Science degree in Biology/Education and received Phi Beta Kappa Honors.
Upon receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Paukovitz went on to complete three years of foot and ankle surgical training at The Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, where she served as Chief Resident. She has extensive experience in lower-extremity wound care as she also trained at a Curative Wound Care Center, specializing in diabetic wound care and limb salvage. After residency, she worked in private practice in Washington D.C. and served as an attending physician for the Washington Hospital Center Surgical Residency Program.

Demonstrating her commitment to the field, she is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the public interest by promoting excellence in the art and science of podiatric surgery through certification. In addition, she is actively involved in continuing medical educational programs, holds the title of Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and maintains membership status with the American Podiatric Medical Association.
