Dr. Moran is a highly-trained obstetrician-gynecologist whose medical interests include high-risk obstetrics, adult diabetes, hypertension, lupus, fetal ultrasound, and genetic counseling.
In practice for nearly two decades, she sees patients at DuPage Medical Group with offices throughout the state of Illinois, including Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, and Naperville. She strives to incorporate the science of medicine with the human experience to provide complete care for her patients.
DuPage Medical Group was formed in 1999 when three healthcare groups serving the western suburbs of Chicago since the 1960s joined together. Today, it has grown into the largest and most successful independent multi-specialty physician group in Illinois. This success is largely based on the informed direction it receives through a physician-governed board. DuPage Medical Group is led by experienced physicians who continually seek innovations through a model of QEA: Quality, Efficiency, and Access.
With a focus on maternal-fetal medicine, Dr. Moran is also affiliated with Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. She is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
A 1999 graduate of the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. Moran went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in 2003. Her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine was completed at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2006.
Following her training, the doctor became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology & maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
