Dr. Ackerman is a nationally renowned plastic surgeon and facelift specialist in Newport Beach, California. He has been in private practice for over three decades.

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Ackerman received his undergraduate degree from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1978. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 1981. Upon graduation, he did his postgraduate training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Enhancing beauty through surgical procedures, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
