On the subject of her educational background, Dr. Calderone earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. She then went on to complete her residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, followed by her fellowship training at the Alt Cosmetic Surgery Center in Edina, Minnesota. 

Thereafter, she earned board certification in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology, one of the 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.
