Get to know Neurologist Dr. Colin Sanner, who serves patients in Waco, Texas.

Seeing patients of all ages, Dr. Sanner is a knowledgeable neurologist at Baylor Scott & White Neurosciences Clinic – Waco in Texas. He is also affiliated with Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio.

Treating a wide variety of neurological conditions, some of his areas of expertise include movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, EEG, Parkinson’s disease, telemedicine, acquired brain injury, headaches, neuroscience, epilepsy care, hospital medicine, and neuroimaging, among others. 

A 2001 graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, Dr. Sanner went on to perform his internship in internal medicine at Westchester Medical Center from 2002-2003. He then completed his residency in neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson from 2003-2006.

Board certified in neurology, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.
