He then completed his surgical internship at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center at Midwestern University, his residency in neurological surgery at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center at A.T. Still University, and a fellowship in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery from the Swedish Neuroscience Institute and Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
