Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Jack L. Brenner, who serves patients in Yorktown Heights, New York.

A seasoned gastroenterologist, Dr. Brenner sees patients at his private practice in Yorktown Heights, New York. He can also be found on staff at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Graduating with his medical degree from the University of Rome, he completed his internship at the St. Barnabas Medical Center, and his residency in internal medicine at the Veterans’ Administration Medical Center. Finally, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in gastroenterology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine focused on the digestive system and its disorders. A gastroenterologist is a physician who has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the esophagus, stomach, small intestines, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.

Among his most notable achievements, Dr. Brenner has been the recipient of the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018, 2017, 2015, 2014, 2012), Patients’ Choice Award (2018, 2017, 2016, 2015), and Patients’ Choice 5th Anniversary Award (2020).
