Get to know Family Physician Dr. Mary-Alice Elizabeth Jaeger, who serves patients in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

An established family physician, Dr. Jaeger works with patients at her private practice Breath of Life Health Care, PLLC. She specializes in sleep medicine, with a special focus on airway structure and function with an endotypic approach to sleep disordered breathing in adults and children.

Prior to opening her private practice, she was affiliated with the Aspen Sleep Center and the Whitman Hospital Medical Center.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Jaeger earned her medical degree from the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine, and completed her residency in family medicine at the Underwood Memorial Hospital. She then went on to complete an additional residency in sleep medicine and a fellowship in airway focused sleep medicine at The University Of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Licensed to practice medicine in Idaho, Washington, Oklahoma, Montana, Minnesota, and California, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Furthermore, she is board-certified in sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine, a nonprofit organization that certifies physicians, PhDs, specialists, and technologists in the specialty of sleep medicine.

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Jaeger is a proud member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Canadian Council of Family Practice.
