Dr. Wendy Bourland is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist now practicing in Memphis, TN at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dr. Bourland specializes in treating children that have a blood disease or cancer. Such blood diseases include disorders of red blood cells, white blood cells and/or platelets. The types of cancers that Dr. Bourland treats include leukemias, lymphomas and certain solid tumors. Dr. Bourland can also treat bleeding disorders in children. She is part of the Hospitalist Medicine Program which provides care to all inpatients and urgent care outpatients overnight and on weekends. She is also an Attending Physician for the new Chemotherapy Service providing care to the patients admitted just for their routine chemotherapy courses.
