Dr. Walker is originally from a small town in Ohio where she did her undergraduate education at The University of Akron. She then travelled to Detroit to complete medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She then completed full training in general surgery at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical center in Detroit. Dr Walker then completed plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at The Universtiy of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky followed by a super fellowship at The Universtiy of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. 

Dr Walker now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband, Dr Josh Walker, a dentist, and their german shepherd, Crockett. They love East Tennessee, as it is where her husband grew up. They enjoy the weather, being able to go see and go to the mountains everyday and being close to family and friends. Dr Walker is also an avid Dolly Parton fan! She also loves to craft, and bake. She learned to crochet from her grandma and taught herself how to quilt.
