Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Errol Williams, who serves patients in Ohio.
Dr. Williams is an experienced and innovative cardiologist with Avita Health System, providing high quality, critical access cardiology services to patients at Ontario Hospital and Bucyrus Hospital.
With his motto being “choose to live well”, his special interests include preventative cardiology, hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, adult congenital heart disease, and hyperlipidemia. He also performs and interprets transesophageal echocardiography, tilt table testing, transthoracic echocardiography, and all forms of stress testing.
Graduating with his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1990, Dr. Williams went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital. He then performed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), he is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system.
