Rao V. Daluvoy, MD, attended Guntur Medical College in Andhra Pradesh, India, and received his medical degree in 1965. He then completed post-surgical training in England and Ireland prior to relocating to the United States, where he served his internship, general surgery residency, and vascular surgery fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. Dr. Daluvoy received board certification in general surgery and vascular surgery from the American Board of Surgery. He chose a career in medicine because he wanted to provide a service to humanity and heal the suffering. Practicing the art of healing and to relieve suffering and pain is his biggest reward as a physician. Outside of work, he dedicates his free time to traveling, photography, and tennis.
