Get to know General Dentist Dr. Alejandro Martinez-Alvarado, who serves the population of Texas.

Dr. Alejandro Martinez-Alvarado currently owns the private practice Great White Dental. Great White Dental works to provide high-quality dentistry in San Antonio, Texas. Their team goal is to continually improve, evolve and give patients the best care possible.  

Dr. Martinez-Alvarado holds expertise in general dentistry, oral health, cosmetic dentistry, surgical implant placement and implant restorations and dental extractions including impacted wisdom teeth. Due to his expertise and care he has been awarded the Opencare Patients’ Choice Award.

Dr. Martinez-Alvarado graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2012. After obtaining his dental degree, he completed his Fellowship with the California Implant Institute. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American Dental Association, Spear Education, Academy of General Dentistry, San Antonio Dental District Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Texas Dental Association.

When not working he enjoys playing guitar, hanging out with family and friends, or doing some outdoor activity with “Meeka” – his Siberian Husky,
