What do you attribute your success to?
- He attributes his success to the ability to talk to patients and try to help them solve their problems and figure out exactly the best decision to make regarding their health and treatments. He was influenced to go into the medical field by his uncle Dr Paul Mitchell who was a Family Practitioner in Oklahoma and was a big influence in his life. He met Dr William Schmidt at the University of Oklahoma who directed him into the path of cardiology. He enjoys reading the Medical Journal of Cardiac CT and the American Journal of Cardiology. He learned just how important the Cardiac CT imaging is during his fellowship training and how it has greatly reduced the rate of heart attacks by almost 40% of patients and continues to be a lifelong learner and is excited about what the future will hold in enhancing ways to save lives.
