Born in Taiwan, Dr. Fang immigrated to the United States at age 14 and was raised in Queens, New York. He graduated from New York University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, and attended the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and Mailman School of Public Health where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Public Health degrees.
Subsequently, he went on to complete an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. During his last year as Chief Resident, he showed great leadership when he was voted by the other residents to be their representative of the Medical Board.
With more than 15 years of experience and being a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr Fang is proven to be highly qualified and dedicated to providing the gold-standard in patient care. He also has extensive training in a wide variety of cosmetic procedures such as botox and dermal filler injections and as well as PDO thread lifts.
Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Association.
In addition to his experience and high proficiency in implant dentistry, dentoalveolar surgery, presprostheric surgery, and oral pathology, Dr. Fang has published numerous prestigious academic papers. His paper “Nutritional Aspects of Care” earned a position in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America. He maintains admitting privileges at Beth Israel-Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Brooklyn Hospital Center, and Morristown Medical Center.
