I began my career in my hometown, Harrisburg, Illinois, in 1991. I added a practice site in Marion, Illinois in 2003. My wife and biggest supporter, Jennifer, is a PA-C. While I opened both locations, she was the person responsible for the huge success we have in Marion. We had a large occupational medicine presence in the coal industry providing wellness clinics onsite, pre-employment evaluations, and treatment for work-related illness and injuries. This branched off to other industires in Southern Illinois.
Other positions I have had over the years include Medical Director of the Behavioral Health Unit, The Mulberry Center, in Harrisburg. I have been the Director of Clinics for Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, Eldorado, Galatia, Equality, and Marion. I served as the Chief Medical Officer for Harrisburg Medical Center from 2018-2021. I transitioned to Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Director for Centura Health in Southwest Kansas from 2021-2022. My wife and I have since returned to our home near Galatia and will resume care of the surrounding communities.
