Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. Angel V. Rodis, who serves patients in Marlton, New Jersey.

A seasoned pulmonologist, Dr. Rodis works with patients at Virtua Pulmonologist in Marlton, New Jersey.

Originally from the Philippines, he earned his medical degree from the De La Salle University College of Medicine in 1986. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in 1991, before completing his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University at Buffalo in 1994.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, sleep medicine and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Pulmonology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases involving the respiratory tract. A pulmonologist is an internal medicine physician who specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions and diseases that affect the lungs, bronchial tubes, and the respiratory system, including the nose, pharynx, and throat.
