Get to know Dentist Dr. Eric V. Thomas, who serves patients in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

Dr. Thomas is a dentist with vast expertise in his field. He was honored as a Top Dentist for 2019.

Dr. Thomas is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of dentistry. His state-of-the-art dental practice, Sunshine Dentistry, is located in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. There, he attends to the dental needs of patients of all ages, as well as prides himself on making all of them feel comfortable while in his dental chair. “Our goal is always to help our patients maintain their oral health and to care for and protect their natural teeth” as stated on Sunshine Dentistry’s website.

Dr. Thomas educates local elementary students and participates in local health fairs on dental health. He also has a featured column in the local weekly newspaper.

Dr. Thomas was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in Queens, New York until he and his family moved to South Carolina during his middle school years. Dr. Thomas received his bachelor’s degree in biology from South Carolina State University with a United States Army ROTC Scholarship. Accepting an educational delay with the US Army, he graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1991.

Dr. Thomas served his country as a Captain/Dentist in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. He was stationed in Texas, South Carolina, as well as Berlin and Heidelberg (Germany).

Dr. Thomas is an active member of the American Dental Association, the National Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Atlantic/Cape May County Dental Society.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Being a dentist, Dr. Thomas diagnoses and treats dental issues, as well as helps patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. He specializes in many areas of dentistry, including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, as well as pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Thomas and his wife, Stephanie, are proud to make Cape May County their home. They have two daughters, Alix and Logan, and a son, Zack. In his spare time, Dr. Thomas enjoys sports, photography, making outdoor brick oven pizza, and spending time with his family.
