Originally from Iran, Dr. Zarandy earned his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine in 1984. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in anatomic & clinical pathology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2002, before completing his fellowship in forensic pathology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2004.
