Dr. Koehler is a board certified cosmetic surgeon who welcomes patients at Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery in Fairhope, Alabama. Dr. Koehler is an attending physician at Thomas Medical Center, Infirmary Health in Fairhope, Alabama and currently serves on the surgery steering committee.
Equipped with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Koehler obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 1994. Dr. Koehler received a medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1999, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
Dr. Koehler then completed a general surgery residency at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, followed by advanced training in maxillofacial surgery at the University of Alabama and a facial cosmetic surgery fellowship under the guidance of Dr. Peter Waite. Dr. Koehler further performed a two-year fellowship in full body cosmetic surgery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Subsequent to his formal training, Dr. Koehler became board certified in facial and body cosmetic surgery by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He is also currently a Trustee for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
