She provides outstanding psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry services to patients at El Paso VA Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. She additionally maintains a private practice in Silver Spring, Maryland, and is affiliated with MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. 

Dr. Dallam earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1982. She then served her residency in psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (1982 – 1987). Dr. Dallam is the co-author of a paper entitled Trauma Reenactments in Aging Veterans with Dementia. 

Dr. Dallam is board-certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN) is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1934 as a method of identifying the qualified specialists in psychiatry and neurology.
