Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Dan Yamini, who serves patients in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Yamini is an award-winning plastic surgeon based in Los Angeles who has performed over 6,000 cosmetic procedures to date, and specializes in natural-looking, precision enhancements of the face, breasts and body. He has extensive experience in the areas of non-surgical injectables including BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM®, Radiesse®, Restylane® and Sculptra®.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stanford University in 1990, Dr. Yamini completed his medical education at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1994. He then went on to complete his residency in general surgery at UCLA Harbor General Hospital in 2000, followed by a residency in plastic surgery and a fellowship in advanced cosmetic surgery at the Providence Hospital and Medical Centers & The Institute for Craniofacial and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

To boot, he is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Remaining up to date in his field, Dr. Yamini is an active member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body.
