Dr. Sullivan is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in maternal-fetal medicine. His areas of interest include preterm labor, fetal imaging, multiple pregnancies, and the management of hypertension and diabetes during pregnancy.

Graduating with honors from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He then went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center, and his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
In good standing with a number of professional organizations, Dr. Sullivan is a proud member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American Medical Association.
He has authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on these and other subjects throughout his career.
