Dr. Bentham is an internist and psychiatrist, and is the principle lead of Bentham Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to providing services and programming to support health, wellness, education, and social justice for individuals, organizations, and communities.
Seeing patients of all ages, from children to seniors, he also works at Bellin Health Psychiatric Center, the premier provider of behavioral health services in Northeast Wisconsin.
Over his career, his clinical experiences include practices in inpatient psychiatric units, consultation-liaison psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry clinics, community mental health centers, specialty medical centers, community partnerships, and telepsychiatry.
With a broad educational background, Dr. Bentham earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, and his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residencies and fellowships at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, University of Washington Medical Center, and Duke University Hospital.
Prior to moving to Fox Valley, Wisconsin in 2014, he was on the medical faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine as Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences for 14 years. He also served as the Associate Director for Behavioral Health at Network Health Plan in Appleton, Wisconsin.
A Diplomate of the American College of Independent Medical Examiners, Dr. Bentham is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
