Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Joshua Frank, who sees patients in Great Neck, New York.

Recognized as a top pediatrician, Dr. Frank cares for patients and families at ProHEALTH Top of the Park Pediatrics. He practices general pediatrics, including childhood immunizations, childhood development and well child care from newborn through college. He has a special interest in working with families whose children have special healthcare needs and developmental disabilities. 

Top of the Park Pediatrics is a Division of ProHEALTH Care Associates and prides itself on providing personalized care for their patients from birth through young adulthood. ProHEALTH was founded by doctors and created to enable doctors to do what they do best: practice medicine and care for you and your family. Professionally, Dr. Frank is affiliated with Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital. He also holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Dr. Frank earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Maimonides Children’s Hospital in 2003, and served an additional year at the hospital as Chief Pediatric Resident. He returned to Long Island in 2005 to join ProHEALTH.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. Frank is board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Dr. Frank is an active member of his local community, both as a pediatrician and a disability activist. He enjoys participating in events to educate new parents and families. Today, he sees patients both in his Great Neck, NY office and also does regular virtual visits via telehealth. 

Pediatrics is the field of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
