Prior to medical school, Dr. Moyer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Independent Studies at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California.

Over the years, she has completed extensive training in multiple psychiatric and psychological techniques, as well as psychoanalytic and psychodynamic training. As such, she is trained in Somatic Transformation Therapy and Gestalt Equine Psychotherapy.
