A 2001 graduate of the Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Scharf went on to complete his residency in surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital and his residency in otolaryngology at Temple University Hospital.
Before long, he became board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification. He also attained fellowship status with the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
