Dr. Dickson is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist working at the Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Frisco, Texas. He provides neuropsychological assessment and therapy services for individuals with acquired brain injuries, concussion, and other medical conditions affecting the brain.

For many years, he has provided services for individuals with cognitive and memory difficulties and thoroughly enjoys making a positive impact on people’s lives, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Dickson received his Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. He then went on to complete a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and brain injury rehabilitation at the Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology, Dr. Dickson is recognized for his high standards of professional excellence and his commitment to providing the highest quality of care to his patients.

On a professional level, he is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the Sports Neuropsychological Society, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the American Psychological Association.

Neuropsychology focuses on identifying the neuro-anatomical sources in the brain of cognitive, emotional, or behavioral function. As such, it can identify the course of change in function that follows a neurological trauma or condition. A neuropsychologist would generally seek natural and non-invasive ways to foster recovery and improvement, or even peak performance, in those who are struggling with effects on their performance.

On a more personal note, Dr. Dickson attributes his success to the guidance and support of great mentors and learning experiences throughout his career. In his free time, he enjoys cheering on the University of Oklahoma sports teams, biking, and reading.
