Edward V. Finnigan, DDS, a distinguished dentist with deep roots in West Islip, New York, is proud to celebrate over 30 years of dedicated service to the Fairfield, Connecticut community. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1990, Dr. Finnigan launched his dental career at Chelmsford Dental Associates in Massachusetts. He also contributed to the field as a part-time clinical instructor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine during his four years in the Boston area.

In 1994, Dr. Finnigan joined DeMartin Dental Associates in Fairfield, Connecticut where he continues to provide exceptional dental care alongside esteemed colleagues Dr. Janice A. Hunt and Dr. Matthew E. Vinoski. Together, the team boasts a remarkable combined experience of over 60 years in addressing a variety of dental needs. They offer a comprehensive range of services including general and cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, teeth whitening, and tooth replacement options. Their commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction is paramount, ensuring that every visit is not only beneficial for dental health but also a positive experience.

Actively involved in the dental community, Dr. Finnigan has served in numerous capacities within the Bridgeport Dental Association, including his role as President from 2005 to 2006. He is also a member of the Membership Committee of the Connecticut State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. His dedication to professional development is highlighted by his achievement of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1999, recognizing his commitment to ongoing education and excellence in dental practice.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Finnigan enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Ellen, and their two teenage children in Fairfield. He is an avid runner and skier and actively participates in men’s softball leagues, fostering community connections and promoting an active lifestyle.
