In regards to his educational background, Dr. Goshen graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981. Subsequently, he completed his residency and specialty training at Tulsa Regional Medical Center in 1987.
For two years, Dr. Goshen practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then in Dallas, Texas until 2003, at which time, he relocated to Fort Lauderdale and established Fort Lauderdale Medical Surgical Associates.
Board certified in proctology, Dr. Goshen is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology (AOBP). The AOBP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the anus, colon, and rectum of the gastrointestinal tract.
