Dr. Giordano is a board-certified internist with years of experience in aesthetic medicine, internal medicine, as well as anti-aging and regenerative medicine. He is the Founder and Medical Director of Carolina Age Management Institute in Huntersville, North Carolina. The staff at Carolina Age Management Institute is well-trained on the most advanced techniques related to helping people maintain a younger, more confident appearance. From consultation to follow-up visits, patients receive customized treatment and care in a relaxed and secure environment. Dr. Giordano is focusing on making Carolina Age Management Institute one of the best training centers in North Carolina for other providers.
Dr. Giordano’s practice has received “Best of the City” awards in 2015 and 2016, as well as “Best of the Lake” Bronze award in 2016. Dr. Giordano himself won the “Best Non-Surgical Facelift” award at The Aesthetic Show in Las Vegas in 2017. It was presented to him by Dr. Andrew Ordon – a renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and Emmy award-winning co-host of the show “The Doctors”.
Currently, Dr. Giordano is a key opinion leader and educator for Thermi – the world leader in minimally invasive thermistor-regulated energy solutions for aesthetics, dermatology, and women’s health. He teaches other physicians from around the country how to perform the ThermiTight and ThermiVa procedures.
Prior to settling into private practice, Dr. Giordano founded and managed a large multi-specialty physician group that provided acute and post-acute care for 3 hospitals, 5 nursing homes, 1 wound care/hyperbaric medical center, and a weight loss center. He served as the Medical Director and Attending Physician for most of these facilities before transitioning to the Carolina Age Management Institute. His dream has always been to help people look and feel amazing both inside and out.
Dr. Giordano earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy Hospital, followed by his residency in internal medicine at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Giordano moved to the Lake Norman area in December of 2007. He completed formal training in anti-aging and regenerative medicine, as well as aesthetic medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Giordano is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Giordano holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support.
