    It would be important to know what is causing the chronic cough.  I would not try acupuncture as a first treatment.  A chronic cough could be serious.  I would first see an MD who can listen to your lungs, order an xray, and prescribe an appropriate medication if needed. READ MORE

    In Chinese Medicine eye twitching would be related to a liver imbalance.  Along with an herbal formula to cleanse the liver,  acupuncture could help.  I would also recommend a diet that is cleansing and alcohol free and some stress management. READ MORE

    Acupuncture doesn't "fix" anything.  Our bodies heal themselves.  Acupuncture brings the body back into its normal balance so it heal itself.  With an earache, it depends on the cause of the earache.  If it's an infection, the answer is "No."  Antibiotics may be needed. If it's because of something like altitude, stopping up sinuses, swimming,  acupuncture can indeed help. READ MORE

    Acupuncture can help with the pain.  However, this is a structural problem.  I would also recommend seeing a chiropractor and an orthopedist. READ MORE

    I have found ringing in the ears or tinnitus to be tricky when I treat this with acupuncture.  In my experience the cases who respond the best are the ones who started having tinnitus after an infection,  such as a virus.  I have not had success with cases who had been exposed to loud noises,  such as continuous sounds from airplane engines, guns firing, and loud banging,  as well as those related to a head injury.   • What is the treatment for chronic back pain?

    The treatment depends on the cause.  Low back pain can be due to a number of causes.  If it's muscular,  acupuncture and massage are usually very helpful.  Self care,  such as stretches, infra red sauna, and hot/cold packs is also indicated. READ MORE
