Get to know Pulmonologist and Critical Care Specialist Dr. Andrew Pastewski, who serves patients in Palmetto Bay, Florida.

A devoted physician, Dr. Pastewski is the ICU Medical Director at Jackson South Medical Center. He specializes in pulmonary disease medicine, critical care medicine, and internal medicine, with a special focus on sleep medicine.

Graduating with his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 2001, Dr. Pastewski completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowships in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Maimonides Medical Center.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Holding a license to practice medicine in Florida, Dr. Pastewski is affiliated with Baptist Hospital of Miami, Kendall Regional Medical Center, and Homestead Hospital.

Critical care specialists provide around-the-clock care in highly-stressful situations within intensive care units (ICUs) in hospitals or trauma centers to the most seriously injured or ill patients.
