Its facilities include a Level 1 Trauma and Heart Center, and the hospital has 216 general acute care beds with a staff dedicated to patients, in sickness and in health. 

After earning her medical degree from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences in India in 1999, Dr. Khan relocated to the United States. Once there, she completed her residency in family medicine at Swedish Hospital in Chicago.

Attributing her success to hard work and dedication, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. Her medical interests include diabetes, preventive medicine, and weight loss.
